I've been in Product Management for many years now and I've always been struggling with feature announcement. And yet feature announcement is key as it impacts directly user engagement and retention.
Current solutions are:
❌ Emails release notes: they don't get read, and are out of context. Also, you can't send an email for each and every new little feature
❌ In-app release notes/changelogs: better but still out of context from a user perspective
❌ In-app prompts/tooltips: these are the most effective because they are very contextual, you'll have to rely on the engineering team and release cycle, which is not ideal
There are some solutions that provide in-app announcements but they have ridiculously high pricing (starting at $300 / month). Big companies can afford this, but for small/medium startups like the one I work in, cannot.
So I went ahead and started building Guyde.io which is a SaaS that lets product people:
✅ Create in-app product announcements with customizable prompts/tooltips,
✅ Without bothering engineering teams
✅ With affordable pricing

I really like the look of this product, at least from the images on your landing page. I've seen companies that append a "New" tag to new features, but not once have I seen one that actually describes what the new feature does. Well done!
Anthony and I launched the beta of our product this week too! Its available at https://lovewall.co
Launched the Building Remotely Podcast at SafetyWing. In the Podcast we interview thought-leaders from GitLab, Angellist or Buffer on topics like remote hiring, building culture remotely, or transitioning your company to remote. Shipped the beta for my product The List Space. It is targetted towards curators/creators like you. For eg: It allows you to organize the links that gets shared in the newsletters and make them available easily for the readers to refer to.
